    ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The University of Redlands track and field teams completed their 2023 National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) Outdoor Track and Field Championships with Ella Bachmeier (Rancho Capistrano, Calif.), Markelle Raymond (Fresno, Calif.), and Sydney Harness (Henderson, Nev.) all competing as individuals.

    The U.S. Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the recipients of the 2023 All-West Region honors this week, with 18 members of the University of Redlands Track & Field teams being selected across 18 events. The All-Region selections include the top five individuals in each event and the top three relays in outdoor track & field from member institutions among each region.

    REDLANDS, Calif. – The University of Redlands track and field teams completed their 2023 outdoor regular season with the Redlands Final Qualifier on Wednesday and Thursday which included four new times/marks that rank top-22 nationally, the top-22 qualify for nationals.

    AZUSA, Calif. – The University of Redlands men’s and women’s track and field teams competed at the Azusa Pacific University (APU) Franson Last Chance meet on Friday and Saturday. There was a total of seven athletes who finished inside the top-eight of their event, seven athletes with personal bests, and three athletes have their personal bests fall inside the top-20 in the country.

    LOS ANGELES – The University of Redlands men's and women's track and field teams returned to competition following the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Championships last weekend at the Occidental Invitational Saturday. The two teams combined to record 14 top-eight finishes in the meet that had NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA teams and professional athletes.

    LA VERNE, Calif. – The University of Redlands men’s track and field team made a move from fourth to third from day one to two at the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Championships Sunday afternoon as they finished with 95 points and a 7-1 dual record in 2023. The third-place finish is tied (not including COVID season) for the best finish since 2019 when they also took third.

    LA VERNE, Calif. – The University of Redlands women’s track and field team came within seven points of overtaking Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (CMS) for the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Championships as they settled for second place with 167 points, 58 points more than third place Pomona-Pitzer (P-P).

  • No. 16 Redlands Women's Track and Field sweeps the field at SCIAC No. 3

    LOS ANGELES – The No. 16 University of Redlands women’s track and field team went 4-0 against Cal Lutheran University, host Occidental College, Pomona-Pitzer, and Chapman University Saturday afternoon at the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) No. 3. The Bulldogs won nine events and had 17 first and second place finishes.

    TUCSON, Ariz. – The University of Redlands track and field sent Jacob Huset (Tacoma, Wash.) and Ella Bachmeier (Rancho Capistrano, Calif.) to the Jim Click Multis hosted by the University of Arizona Thursday and Friday. Huset finished ninth in the decathlon with 5253 points and Bachmeier took 14th in the heptathlon with 4055 points.
