June 26, 2023Luke De Vries (Irvine, CA) represented University of Redlands Baseball on the 2023 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Division III Region 10 All-Defensive Team as an outfielder and was one of nine selections to the team.

May 23, 2023The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced their 2023 Academic All-District Team for Baseball this week with the University of Redlands having four players recognized for the first time in their careers, all sophomores Luke De Vries (Irvine, CA), Sebastian Mejorado (Oceanside, CA), Gabriel Ceja (Long Beach, CA), and Cade McClelland (Mission Viejo, CA).

May 06, 2023REDLANDS, Calif. – The University of Redlands baseball team (18-20, 10-14) completed a series sweep of Caltech thanks to a 10-5 win in game one and a walk off 4-3 win in game two on senior day Saturday afternoon at The Yard. The Bulldogs end the season on a six-game winning streak.

Bulldog Baseball drops suspended game from February with Pomona-Pitzer
May 02, 2023CLAREMONT, Calif. – The University of Redlands baseball team (15-20, 7-14) completed their series with Pomona-Pitzer (P-P) from the end of February that was suspended in the fifth inning of game three (originally scheduled as game one before the first postponement) due to rain as they lost 12-2 after allowing eight combined runs in the seventh and eighth innings.

Baseball swept by Stags in twin bill despite highly contested matchups
April 15, 2023REDLANDS, Calif. – The University of Redlands baseball team (12-18, 4-12) lost both games of their doubleheader with Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (CMS) Saturday afternoon. In game one they broke up a no-hitter in the eighth and scored three times to tie the game, but the Stags won the game in the ninth, 4-3. In game two the Bulldogs’ early lead was not enough as they lost 10-3.

April 01, 2023REDLANDS, Calif. – The University of Redlands baseball team (11-13, 3-8) lost both games of their doubleheader with Chapman University Saturday afternoon with a 6-4 loss in game one and a 7-2 loss in game two. The Bulldogs held a 4-1 lead after seven in the first game before allowing five runs in the final two innings, including four in the ninth. In game two the Bulldogs never led.

Bulldog Baseball splits doubleheader with La Verne thanks to Buchan's seven shutout innings
March 04, 2023LA VERNE, Calif. – The University of Redlands baseball team (6-5, 2-3) split their road doubleheader with the University of La Verne (ULV) on Saturday. Starter Nathan Buchan (Mercer Island, Wash.) threw seven shutout innings to lead the Bulldogs to a 3-1 win in game one. In game two the Bulldogs could never get the offense going or keep the Leopards off the bases as they lost in seven innings 16-1.
