February 27, 2023LAGUNA NIGUEL, Calif. – The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) announced the 2022-23 women’s basketball all-conference teams and the University of Redlands received three selections: Hannah Jerrier (Canton, Mass.) and Alyssa Downs (South San Francisco, Calif.) on the first team and Chyanne Pagkalinawan (Valencia, Calif.) on the second. Adding to Jerrier’s first team selection is the SCIAC Defensive Athlete of the Year award, her second consecutive season winning the award. -

It was the third meeting between the two teams and the first win for the Bulldogs against the Leopards as they held off a second half rally to earn the automatic bid into the NCAA Championships. -

February 09, 2023WHITTIER, Calif. - The University of Redlands women's basketball team (16-6, 11-3) suffered a tough loss on the road against Whittier College, 83-72, as the Bulldogs are now tied with Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (CMS) for second place in conference play. The Bulldogs played without the program's joint all-time leading scorer Alyssa Downs (South San Francisco, Calif.), but it was their defense which allowed the Poets to shoot 46 percent from the field and make 11-of-22 threes that cost them Wednesday night. -
