CSC Academic All-District Teams

REDLANDS, Calif. – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced the 2022-23 Women's Basketball Academic All-District teams, and the University of Redlands had three members: Julia Balestreri (Pleasanton, CA), Alyssa Downs (South San Francisco, CA), and Hannah Jerrier (Canton, MA).

For senior Balestreri this is her first academic all-district honor. She is a Biology major and plans to attend Redlands' School of Education to teach secondary-level STEM classes.

This is Downs' first all-district honor joining her Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC)  All-Academic selection in 2019-20 and her Redlands Scholar-Athlete honor also in 2019-20. The graduate is currently a Political Science major and plans to attend law school.  

Jerrier is receiving an all-district honor for the second consecutive season. She has also been named to the SCIAC All-Academic team and was a Redlands Scholar-Athlete in 2019-20. She is currently in graduate school pursuing her Masters in Learning and Teaching and plans to become a Spanish teacher.
