SCIAC Baseball Weekly Release No. 7

REDLANDS, Calif. - The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) announced their Baseball Athletes of the Week in the seventh week of voting and University of Redlands senior right-hander Tyler Reiter (San Diego, CA) was selected as the SCIAC Pitcher of the Week for the first time in his career.

Tyler has been dominate this season improving to 4-0 on the year after he tossed his best game of the season Saturday in a 5-0 win for the University of Redlands against Luther College.  He threw a complete game shutout surrendering just four hits, two walks, while striking out a career high 11.  He also had an 11.00 K/9 rate and a perfect 0.00 ERA.  This season he has a 0.91 ERA.  

Redlands returns to the diamond this week with a pair of non-conference games with Middlebury College (Wednesday, March 22 @ 3:00pm) and Pacific Lutheran (Thursday, March 23 @ 3:00pm).
