Unlike the other sports, the Track & Field SCIAC Championships do not determine qualification into the NCAA Division III National Championships, nor is this the final meet of the season. Athletes qualify for the NCAAs by hitting a specific time or mark, which they can do at any meet during the official outdoor season. The Bulldogs also have three meets on the schedule after SCIACs and before NCAAs, which the Bulldogs can use to meet their qualifying times and marks.
