Maigan Adams named SCIAC Women’s Field Athlete of the Week

SCIAC Women's Track & Field Weekly Release No. 12

REDLANDS, Calif. - The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) announced their Women's Track & Field Athletes of the Week in the twelfth week of voting and University of Redlands sophomore Maigan Adams (Los Angeles, CA) earns recognition for the first time this season and the second time in her career. 

Maigan led the field events in SCIAC No. 3 for the University of Redlands as they went on to beat Pomona-Pitzer, Chapman, Cal Lutheran and Occidental to finish the SCIAC Dual schedule with a 7-1 record.  Maigan took home two event wins in the Long Jump and Triple Jump.  She had a personal best mark in the Long Jump with a 5.65m and then on her second attempt in the Triple Jump won the event with an 11.24m jump. 

Redlands now turns their attention to the SCIAC Championships as they head to the University of La Verne in two weeks, Sunday-Monday, April 29-30.
