Chloe Bullock Makes History at NCAA Division III National Championships | First NCAA All-American for Redlands Women’s Cross-Country

LANSING, Michigan – Sophomore Chloe Bullock (Hood River, Ore.) made history over the weekend becoming the first University of Redlands Women's Cross Country runner to earn All-American status at an NCAA Division III Cross Country National Championship.

Bullock finished 38th overall Saturday battling the cold and snowy conditions posting a time of 22:43.4, which is the best finish for a women's runner for the University of Redlands at an NCAA Division III National Championship as of the 2007 season.

Chloe got off to a strong start, sitting in 30th place after the first mile, which she ran in 5:56.8. She struggled in her second mile, dropping to 46th and posting a split time of 6:08.9. In the following two splits at the 3.8K and 5K marks, she moved up 10 spots to 36th and her final 1K was run in 4:02.1 and solidified her All-American status.

After a fantastic sophomore season, Bullock finishes in fifth place all time in the 5K with an 18:16.9, which she ran at the UC Riverside Invite earlier this season. She also sits sixth in the 6K with a 22:02.0, which she ran last Saturday in Washington at the NCAA Division III West Regional.
