Chloe Bullock Qualifies for NCAA Division III National Championships

REDLANDS, Calif. - The University of Redlands Cross Country teams will be represented at the NCAA Division III Cross Country National Championships in Lansing, Michigan this Saturday, November 19 by sophomore Chloe Bullock (Hood River, OR) who qualifies for the first time in her career.

This is the ninth-straight season at least one Bulldog will represent the program at nationals with 2012 being the last season there were no representatives from the Maroon and Grey.

Bullock qualified for the NCAA Division III National Championships with a ninth-place finish and a time of 22:02.0, a new personal best and Top-10 mark in program history, at the NCAA Division III West Regional, which took place in Spokane, Wash. this past Saturday. Her finish is nineteen spots better than her 28th-place finish in 2021 at the West Regional and her time is also :58.4 seconds quicker. 

Bullock has had a fantastic season thus far, posting personal best times in the 5K and 6K and Top-10 finishes in all five of her races which included a second-place finish at The Waves Invitational (October 1). Her 5K time of 18:16.9, coming at the UCR Cross Country Invitational (September 17), is the fifth fastest in program history and her 6K time of 22:02.0, coming at the NCAA division III West Regional (November 12), is the sixth fastest in program history.

The NCAA Division III National Championships are set to start at 8:00 a.m. PST.
