Bulldog Women's Track & Field Jumps to No. 11 in Current Outdoor Rankings

The University of Redlands women's track & field team continued its upward trend in the U.S. Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) NCAA Division III Outdoor Rankings by landing at No. 11 in this week's top-25 list.  The Bulldogs move up five spots from last week's ranking.

This poll is determined by a mathematical formula that calculates points from the NCAA Division III Descending Order Lists from the current campaign.  Based on this methodology, the Bulldogs amassed 75.48 points for an improvement of 16.39 to rank 11th in all of NCAA Division III.

Redlands boasts 16 marks within the top 75 in the nation, as highlighted by senior Alison Smith's (McKinleyville, CA) multi-faceted contributions that include the highest Heptathlon score and the fastest time in the 100 Hurdles this season.  In addition, junior Vanessa Blanchard (Palmdale, CA) owns the fifth-best mark in the High Jump with a height of 5' 7".

Redlands looks forward to competing in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Championships on Friday, April 28, and Saturday, April 29, at Pomona-Pitzer Colleges.
