Bulldog Football Announces Audio and Web Schedule for 2011 Season

The University of Redlands proudly announces the broadcast schedule for the upcoming 2011 football campaign, which marks the 102nd season of Bulldog football. With continued coverage on the radio and through the web, all nine Redlands football games will be available on KCAA 1050 AM radio with a simulcast available on the KCAA web site. In addition, the Bulldogs excitedly offer live web-streaming during their home football contests on Sept. 3, Oct. 8, Oct. 29, and Nov. 5.

"We are thrilled to provide our fans with a variety of ways to follow the action of Bulldog football!" commented Director of Athletics and Physical Education, Jeff Martinez. "We sincerely appreciate the university's support in making this endeavor a reality for the Bulldogs."

Redlands also plans to offer live streaming for home volleyball and basketball contest during the 2011-12 school-year.

During the Bulldogs' football games, fans outside of KCAA's listening range may also tune into the action through the station's simulcast on the web, enabling fans around the world to follow the action. To access the web-cast, simply go to the station's homepage at www.kcaaradio.com and then click "Listen Live!"

In addition, the live audio- and video-feeds are available on the Bulldog football schedule page.

KCAA is excited to offer a Smartphone application to allow users to listen to the games even when away from a computer. Patrons simply need to visit www.kcaaexpress.com and download the appropriate application.

For the 24th year, fans will follow every snap, pass, and touchdown with hosts Mitch McClellan and Brett Malak during the audio broadcast.

Redlands kicks off the 102nd season of football opening up against fourth-ranked North Central College at Ted Runner Stadium on Sept. 3 at 7 p.m. In addition, the community is invited to "Rah Rah Redlands", a family-friendly event that takes place on the practice field from 4:30 to 7 p.m. prior to kick-off. Admission to "Rah Rah Redlands" is just $7 for general admission and $4 for senior citizens and non-UR students (with ID), and includes entrance to the game. The event is free for kids 12 and under as well as all UR employees and students.
