Bulldog Athletics and Town & Gown Host "Rah Rah Redlands" on Sept. 3

The University of Redlands and Town & Gown excitedly invite the local community to "Rah Rah Redlands" on Saturday, September 3, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. This family-friendly carnival celebrates Bulldog football's season opener and takes place on the Redlands practice field, located on campus just east of Ted Runner Stadium.

Admission to "Rah Rah Redlands" is included in your game ticket, which costs $7 for adults and $4 for non-UR students (includes middle, high school and junior college students) and senior citizens (55 and over). The event is free for kids 12 and under. Fans should enter the stadium at the Frank Serrao Gateway and then make their way to the practice field for "Rah Rah Redlands." The ticket booth will open at 4:15 p.m. on September 3.

Guests may purchase food and drinks from a variety of vendors, including local favorites Kool Kactus Café, Uncle Howie's Pizza and Hangar 24 Craft Brewery, as well as Original Tommy's Hamburgers and Jamba Juice.

Student-athletes from the University of Redlands will coordinate fun football activities, while the cheer team and Bulldog mascot will teach chants and cheers.

Following the event, all attendees are encouraged to cheer on the Bulldogs as they play host to fourth-ranked North Central College (IL) at 7:05 p.m. Last season, Redlands posted its best overall record since 1978 with an 8-1 showing against quality NCAA Division III opponents.
