Tucker Cargile Breaks School Record, Named All-American at XC Nationals | Isabella Glenn Takes 117th

LOUISVILLE, KY – The University of Redlands cross country teams were represented at the NCAA Division III Cross Country National Championships saturday as graduate student Tucker Cargile (Denver, CO) took 36th overall and senior Isabella Glenn (Seattle, Wash.) finishing 117th.  

Cargile was named an All-American due to his strong performance in the Top-40 and at the same time broke his own school record in the 8K with a mark of 24:20.2. His time bests his previous by 13.3 seconds, a record he set at the Highlander Invitational in 2019.

For Glenn she ran a 22:34.1 6K, putting her .5 faster than her NCAA West Regional Championship time last weekend.

This concludes the 2021 season for the Bulldog cross country teams as they look to prepare for the upcoming spring and the start of track and field season.  In Track & Field Cargile has competed in the 800M, 1500M, Mile, 3000M, and 5000M and for Glenn, who excels in the distance events for Track & Field, especially the 3000m Steeple Chase looks to compete in the 800M, 1500M, Mile, 3000M, 5000M, and the 3000M steeplechase.
