This week's Redlands Rewind highlights the Highlander Cross Country Invitational on October 19, 2019, as junior Miguel Fausto's most memorable meet of his Bulldog career up to this point.

"This race was memorable to me because as a team we all wanted to run fast to see how much we had progressed throughout the season. That day most of us ran our personal 8k bests," Fausto stated.  "We showed that Redlands cross country is better than it has ever been with nothing more than the desire to have Coach Mike take a team to nationals."

Fausto's teammate Tucker Cargile broke the school record in the men's 8k with a time of 25:24.0, while Fausto registered his career-best time of 26:22.1.

In 2019, the Bulldog men completed the conference championship in third place for their best finish since 1992, while the women recorded their highest-ever showing at the NCAA Regional Championships with a fourth-place performance.
