SCIAC Women's Water Polo Weekly Release No. 9
REDLANDS, Calif. - The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) announced their Women's Water Polo Athletes of the Week in the ninth week of voting and University of Redlands goalie Tori Zielinski (Sunnyvale, CA) was selected as the SCIAC Defensive Athlete of the Week for the third time this season.
Tori led the defensive efforts for the University of Redlands this past week in a pair of wins over La Verne (12-9) and Caltech (15-4). She combined for 29 Saves over the two games with an assist. Against the Leopards she posted 14 saves and a .609% save percentage and then came back with 15 saves, an assist and a .789 save percentage against the Beavers.
Redlands returns to the pool this Saturday, March 25 when they host Pomona-Pitzer beginning at 11:00am.
