The 2021 women's water polo season officially came to an end with the University of Redlands competing against Cal Lutheran University in the SCIAC Postseason Tournament championship game.

Head Coach Gielen commented, "We went down big early and couldn't recover, but the team responded at halftime when they were reminded that they couldn't change the beginning, but they could decide how they wanted to end the game. In the end, we had a great experience in the championship game, and we are very proud of our seniors who lead the charge all season. Kelly Klish (captain), Sarah Draves, and Katelynn Holloman are our outgoing senior student-athletes and four-year varsity letter-winners, and they set great examples of perseverance in our program over four years."

Looking ahead to the 2021-22 academic year, the Bulldogs excitedly resume in-person learning in September.  The team anticipates the return of Erin Ross, Alyssa Lougee, and Sofia Portello, who were learning remotely during this past year, as well as welcome a talented incoming class of Bulldogs to the mix:
