Redlands Women's Water Polo Lands Team and 15 Individual All-Academic Awards From ACWPC

It was announced recently by the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) that 15 members of the University of Redlands women's team collected All-Academic recognition for their success in the classroom during the 2019-20 school-year.  In addition, the Bulldogs ranked 11th among all team recipients for collectively exceeding the minimum grade-point average of 3.00.  As a group, they own a 3.56 GPA.

The ACWPC All-Academic list includes individuals over three categories of scholarly achievement based on GPA, including "outstanding" (4.0-3.71), "superior" (3.70-3.41), and "excellent" (3.40-3.20).

The Bulldogs hauled in seven "outstanding" awards, six "superior" nods, and two "excellent" honors in an impressive showing.

Senior attacker Courtney Gray (Yucaipa, CA) repeats as an "outstanding" recipient for her fourth overall award.  In addition, junior defender Jena Suzuki (Wailuku, HI) and junior attacker Kelly Klish (Glenview, IL) become three-time members of the "outstanding" team through the ACWPC, while sophomore attacker Holly Kvanvig (Beaverton, OR) earns back-to-back nods. Sophomore attacker Ally Feeley (Menlo Park, CA) moved up to the "outstanding" category from last year's "superior" standing for her second academic award. Finally, first-year attacker Katrina Nielsen (Houston, TX) and first-year goalkeeper Tori Zielinski (Sunnyvale, CA) collect their inaugural "outstanding" nod in their rookie season with the Maroon and Gray.

Junior center Alina Waldo (Portland, OR) and junior defender Sarah Draves (Fallbrook, CA) make their third appearance on the ACWPC All-Academic list with appearances on the "superior" list this year. Senior attacker Hunter Olivier (Indio, CA) repeats as a "superior" recipient for her second overall award, while first-year attackers Alyssa Baratelle (Lake Elsinore, CA) and Alyssa Lougee (Corinth, TX) and first-year goalkeeper Erin Ross (Newport Beach, CA) each gain "superior" status for their inaugural accolades.

Rounding out the group of impressive student-athletes are junior attacker Katelynn Holloman (Wildomar, CA) and sophomore attacker Nicolette Ramirez (Whittier, CA) with a pair of "excellent" acknowledgments for their first ACWPC All-Academic award.
