Quality Quartet Garners Selection to SCIAC All-Academic Women’s Water Polo Team

It was announced on Wednesday that four student-athletes from the University of Redlands women's water polo team were selected to the 2015 Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) All-Academic Team, as announced by the conference office.  Seniors Tricia Bannister and Deandra Van Houten, and juniors Caitlyn Freeman and Maurisa Major all repeat as honorees for this award.

Bannister earns her third and final all-academic nod from the SCIAC, as she completed her degree in Business Administration earlier this spring.  Van Houten receives back-to-back recognition in her final two years of meeting the requirements as a transfer student-athlete.  She graduated with a degree in Sociology.

After earning the award in 2014, Freeman and Major repeat as all-academic recipients as they pursue their respective degrees in Communicative Disorders and Creative Writing.
