Quinn Scores Five as Redlands Women’s Water Polo Dismantles Claremont-Mudd-Scripps

The University of Redlands women’s water polo team honored its seniors in grand fashion on Saturday in Redlands, defeating Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges, 11-4.

Senior driver Claire Quinn (Fresno, CA) dominated in her final game at the Thompson Aquatic Center, netting a game-high five goals. Senior center Sam Greenawalt (Riverside, CA) and freshman driver Kelli Moy (Honolulu, HI) both found the back of the net twice while freshman center Jamie Paul (Sandy, OR) and freshman driver Casey Sripramong (Glendale, CA) buried one apiece.

Between the pipes, junior goalkeeper Whitney Schieler (Porterville, CA) stymied the Athenas as no Claremont-Mudd-Scripps player scored multiple goals. Schieler recorded a game-high 12 saves.

Redlands (11-15, 3-2 SCIAC) plays its final regular season Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) contests on the road. The Bulldogs meet up with Whittier College next in Whittier on Wednesday at 5 p.m.
