Redlands (0-6) continues to grow with a youthful roster, which includes nine new players and five sophomores. Eighth-year Head Coach Mari Winter led the program to its first ever SCIAC Championship and semifinal appearance of the NCAA West Regional Championships during the 2009 campaign.

The Bulldogs host Whittier College on Tuesday in an important Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) meeting of last season's sixth- and seventh-place teams. Both programs have faced early struggles in 2011, with the Poets entering the match with a slight edge at 1-6 so far.

Redlands plans to stream all home volleyball matches during the 2011 campaign.
