Redlands Volleyball Falls to Cal Lutheran

The University of Redlands Bulldog volleyball team continued to struggle with last night's 0-3 Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) loss to Cal Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, falling 18-25, 11-25, 18-25. This marks only the second sweep against the Bulldogs during the 2010 season but the fourth defeat in the last five matches.

The Maroon and Gray faced a savvy Regal attack, which posted a .324 hitting percentage. The Bulldogs rallied for their best offensive output of the match during the third set, hitting .243 off of 10 kills, one error and 37 attacks.

Defensively, freshman libero Gabriela Levesque (Santa Monica, CA) collected a team-high 11 digs for the Maroon and Gray.

Redlands (12-5, 2-4 SCIAC) strives to get back on track during Friday's home match against Occidental College at 7:30 p.m. in Currier Gym.
