Kendall Bolock, Olivia Rockwood, and Kiana Brady named All-SCIAC

2023 Women's Tennis All-SCIAC Teams 

LAGUNA NIGUEL, Calif. - The 2023 All-Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Women's Tennis awards were announced recently by the conference office following a vote conducted by the league's member head coaches. 

The University of Redlands Women's Tennis team a saw trio of players land on both All-SCIAC teams led by senior Kendall Bolock (Yucaipa, CA) and junior Olivia Rockwood (Park City, UT) who both earned 1st Team All-SCIAC recognition.  They were joined by sophomore Kiana Brady (Hermosa Beach, CA) who made her way onto the 2nd Team.

Bolock lands on the 1st Team for the first time in her career after earning 2nd Team All-SCIAC recognition in 2022.  This season she played No. 1 singles compiling an 8-4 record, which included a 3-3 mark within SCIAC.  She is also ranked No. 14 in the West Region.  In doubles she paired up with L. Rockwood at the top spot posting an impressive 10-4 mark, while going 5-2 in SCIAC.  The duo is ranked No. 4 in the West Region. 

L. Rockwood finds herself on the 1st Team for the second straight year after she put together a 9-4 record on the season in singles.  She bounced back and forth between No. 2 and No. 3 and was 5-2 in SCIAC.

Brady was voted to the 2nd Team earning All-Conference recognition for the first time in her career.  She was rock solid in singles playing both No. 2 and No. 3.  She finished the year 9-3, 5-1 SCIAC.  In doubles she paired up with Christine O'Brien (Leawood, KS) at No. 2 and they finished 9-5, while going 4-3 SCIAC.   They are ranked No. 15 in the West Region.    

Redlands ends the regular season 9-6, 4-3 SCIAC and qualified for the SCIAC Tournament as the No. 3 seed eventually falling 5-0 to No. 2 Pomona-Pitzer.
