ITA Division III National Rankings

REDLANDS, Calif. - The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced the final national and regional rankings for 2021-22, putting an exclamation point on a tremendously successful season for University of Redlands Women's Tennis.

After winning 11 dual matches in the regular season including five against nationally-ranked programs, the Bulldogs earned a No. 15 ranking among all NCAA Division III programs, and claimed the three spot in the ITA West Regional rankings trailing only Div. III National Champion Claremont-Mudd-Scripps and No. 2 Pomona-Pitzer.  This marks the highest national ranking for the Bulldogs since 2014 when they earned a pre-season ranking of No. 12.

Redlands put together an outstanding season earning a spot in the NCAA Division III National Championships as an At-Large bid and then traveled to Richardson, TX where they upset then No. 14 Trinity (TX) 5-4 to advance to the Round of 16.

The Maroon and Grey collected the accolades in the West Region rankings with Liv Rockwood (Park City, UT) moving up to No. 14 in singles following an impressive sophomore campaign where she was named 1st Team All-SCIAC after going 8-8 in singles playing No. 1 and joining doubles partner Mia Fitzgerald (Kilauea, HI) to post a 12-5 mark at No. 2.  L. Rockwood and Fitzgerald earned a No. 15 ranking.

Kendall Bolock (Yucaipa, CA) was the other Bulldog to earn a singles ranking coming in at No. 18 after she went 12-4 on the season, while landing on the All-SCIAC 2nd Team.  She too was recognized in the doubles rankings joining teammate Gabby Rockwood (Park City, UT) at No. 12 after they went 9-8 at the top spot.
