Redlands Women's Tennis Climbs to No. 25 in National Rankings

Redlands women's tennis is now ranked No. 25.

The University of Redlands women's tennis team jumped to No. 25 in the most recent Oracle/Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division III National Rankings, as announced earlier today.  The Bulldogs improved by nine slots on the poll that included the Bulldogs' results through March 25.

Most recently, the Maroon and Gray upset the then-No. 33 Lewis & Clark College (OR) Pioneers in an 8-1 decision.

Sophomore Sarah Ikioka (Wailuku, HI) continues to lead the Maroon and Gray by shoring up the top singles and doubles spots in the lineup.  She owns a 10-4 singles record and teams up with junior Elizabeth Johnson (Portland, OR) in doubles to earn an 11-3 mark thus far.  Johnson also competes in singles at the No. 2 position.
