U of R Women's Tennis Gains ITA Honors with Academic Success

It was recently announced by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) that the University of Redlands women's tennis team has been honored for the fifth consecutive year, as an ITA All-Academic Team for owning a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or above. 

In addition, four individuals were named ITA Scholar-Athletes for owning an individual GPA of 3.5 or higher during the 2016-17 academic year. Senior Emily Murnin (Salt Lake City, UT) becomes a four-time ITA Scholar-Athlete, having earned the distinction each year of her Bulldog career. 

Junior Claire Bohoskey (Yakima, WA) earns the award for the third time, while sophomore Elizabeth Johnson (Portland, OR) repeats as an ITA Scholar-Athlete in back-to-back years.  Finally, freshmen Sarah Ikioka (Wailuku, HI) receives her inaugural such award.
 
Redlands completed the recent season with a 10-11 overall record.
