No. 33 Redlands Women's Tennis Qualifies Dynamic Duo for NCAA Individual Championships in Singles and Doubles

It was announced earlier today that the No. 33 University of Redlands women's tennis team will be represented by two student-athletes at the 2017 NCAA Division III Individual Championships, which take place May 25-27 at The Champions Tennis Club in Chattanooga, TN.

Freshman Sarah Ikioka (Wailuku, HI) and sophomore Elizabeth Johnson (Portland, OR) look forward to making their first postseason appearance in doubles at this year's national tournament.  The duo played at the top of the lineup throughout the current season en route to amassing a 17-4 record for the Bulldogs.  This included a six-match win streak and 14 wins in the last 15 outings.

Ikioka also qualifies in singles in her inaugural year with the Maroon and Gray.  As the No. 1 singles player for Redlands, she earned a 13-9 record that was highlighted by straight-set wins in all but two of her positive outcomes.
