The No. 25 University of Redlands women's tennis team traveled to Seal Beach Tennis Club to face the Chapman University Panthers in an important Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) match on Saturday morning. With impressive results throughout the line-up, the Bulldogs swept the Panthers for the 9-0 win.

The Bulldogs cruised through the doubles with the No. 1 tandem of freshman Sarah Ikioka (Wailuku, HI) and sophomore Elizabeth Johnson (Portland, OR) taking care of business in an 8-0 thrashing.  Redlands continued to roll, as the No. 2 team of senior Emily Murnin (Salt Lake City, UT) and freshman Jackie Lacy (Palm Desert, CA) registered an 8-2 victory, before junior Claire Bohoskey (Yakima, WA) and sophomore Kate Dolan (St. Louis, MO) completed the sweep with their 8-4 effort at the No. 3 slot.

In singles, sophomore Madison Ross (San Diego, CA) made quick work of her No.5 opponent with a 6-0, 6-0 showing, while Johnson officially put this one in the books for the Bulldogs by dismissing her No. 3 counterpart in another shutout result.

Furthermore, Ikioka, Murnin, Dolan, and junior Tyler Garant (Anaheim Hills, CA) each recorded straight-set wins in singles.
