Redlands Women's Tennis Aces Academics with Multiple Awards from the ITA

It was recently announced by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) that the University of Redlands women's tennis team has been honored as an ITA All-Academic Team for owning a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or above.  As a team, Redlands collects its fourth-consecutive academic award from the ITA.

In addition, more than half of the squad gained ITA Scholar-Athlete status as a result of maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.5 during the current academic year.  Senior Alyssa Gilbert (Mukilteo, WA) becomes a four-time ITA Scholar-Athlete, having earned the distinction each year of her Bulldog career.

In addition, senior Natalie Etchegaray (Placentia, CA) and junior Emily Murnin (Salt Lake City, UT) each earn the award for the third time, while sophomore Claire Bohoskey (Yakima, WA) repeats as an ITA Scholar-Athlete in back-to-back years.  Finally, freshmen Kate Dolan (St. Louis, MO), Elizabeth Johnson (Portland, OR) and Madison Ross (San Diego, CA) each receive their inaugural such award.

Redlands completed the recent season with a 16-8 overall record.
