Junior Rachael Miller (Newport Beach, CA) of the University of Redlands took to the court earlier today for the first round of singles at the 2010 NCAA Division III Individual Women's Tennis Championships at the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

She squared off against the top player from 10th-ranked Carnegie Mellon University (PA), sophomore Laura Chen, but came up short in straight sets, 6-1, 6-4.

This marks Miller's third trip to the NCAA Individual Women's Tennis Championships.
