REDLANDS, Calif. – The United Soccer Coaches Association (USC) announced their 2022 Division III All-Region teams Wednesday for Women's Soccer with Graduate Midfielder Charlie Baum (Hesperia, CA) representing the University of Redlands being selected to the 3rd Team.
Baum played as a defensive midfielder who helped the Bulldogs post four shutouts and a total of eight games where the opponent scored one or fewer goals.
Despite her defensive responsibilities, she had a career year on offense, with new career-highs in goals (2), tied for assists (1), points (5), shots (22), shots on-goal (14), game-winning goals (1), games played (17), and starts (17).
Her two goals were the first two of her career, both coming on free kicks in a 3-0 victory against the University of La Verne back on October 5.
For her career Baum finished with eleven games played where the Bulldogs posted a shutout. She also had two goals, three assists, seven points, 49 shots, and 26 shots on-goal. This season she also landed on the All-SCIAC 1st Team.
