The United Soccer Coaches recently announced that the University of Redlands women's soccer program earned the 2016-17 Team Academic Award as one of 531 collegiate women's teams to be recognized. To qualify for the award, the team must obtain a grade-point average of 3.0 or higher during the academic year.

The Bulldogs gain their fourth such honor from the United Soccer Coaches.

Redlands impressed as one of 195 schools to receive this award concurrently for both men's and women's soccer in 2016-17.
