The Bulldogs' defensive unit stepped up in the third quarter, holding the Athenas to just one goal in the first nine plus minutes as they got their first two goals courtesy of Cailin Walker (Portland, OR) and Jenna Bradford (Anaheim, CA) who scored at the 12:39 and 9:48 marks. In the fourth the Bulldogs' first score of the quarter came from senior Emma Beaver (Bend, OR) on a free position shot in her final collegiate game. Less than two minutes later Bradford added her second with 10:04 remaining. A pair of late CMS goals ended the game with a final of 24-4.
