SCIAC Women's Lacrosse Weekly Release No. 3

REDLANDS, Calif. – The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) announced their Women's Lacrosse Athletes of the Week in the third week of voting and University of Redlands senior defender Nina Davis (Bainbridge Island, WA) was selected as the SCIAC Defensive Athlete of the Week for the first time in her career.

Davis was a constant disruptive presence for the University of Redlands as the Bulldogs picked up a win over Albion University and played Sewanee: The University of the South to a tight 20-14 defeat. Over the two games she caused five turnovers and picked up nine ground balls leading the defensive unit. 

Redlands returns to SCIAC competition this week with a road contest against Whittier College on Wednesday, March 8 (7:00pm) before hosting the Regals of California Lutheran University on Saturday, March 11 (1:00pm).
