U of R Women's Lacrosse Scores IWLCA Academic Awards

It was recently announced that the University of Redlands women's lacrosse team joined the elite list of programs that exceeded the minimum combined GPA of 3.0 in order to be named one of 276 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Zag Sports Academic Honor Squads.   

In addition, the Bulldogs gained four individuals on the IWLCA Zag Sports Academic Honor Roll.  The senior quartet of Izzy Baez (Zionsville, IN), Emily Bilenduke (Breckenridge, CO), Stephanie Garrett (San Diego, CA), and Sam Keary (Mission Viejo, CA) represents the Maroon and Gray among the honorees. 

Baez and Keary each competed in lacrosse and soccer at Redlands while successfully completing their respective degrees in Business Administration and Psychology.  Garrett and Bilenduke also earned Psychology degrees upon conclusion of their four-year careers with the Bulldogs.

In order to be eligible for the Honor Roll, student-athletes must be juniors, seniors, or graduate students, and own a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher.  

Redlands is one of 149 NCAA Division III teams to be among the Honor Roll.
