Bulldog Women's Lacrosse Hits the Books to Become IWCLA Academic Honor Squad

It was announced on Monday that the University of Redlands women's lacrosse team was named to the 2015 NCAA Division III Academic Honor Squad by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) for the Bulldogs' scholarly success during the most recent school-year.

Redlands was recognized as one of 129 Division III women's lacrosse programs to achieve this honorable mark. The Bulldogs are joined by four fellow Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) members, including Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges, Occidental College, Pomona-Pitzer Colleges, and Whittier College.

Furthermore, the IWLCA applauded 266 total women's teams among the three NCAA divisions and the NAIA.

In order to earn IWLCA Academic Squad recognition, each school must obtain a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. To view all of the recipients, please visit the IWLCA website.
