SCIAC Women's Golf Weekly Release No. 3
REDLANDS, Calif. - The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) announced their Golfers of the Week in the third week of voting and University of Redlands senior Hannah Jugar (Chula Vista, CA) was selected as the SCIAC Women's Golfer of the Week for the first time this season and the seventh time in her career.
Hannah led the University of Redlands Women's Golf team to a win at the Jekyll Island Invitational over the weekend. It's the fourth win for the Bulldogs this year. After Round 1 the team sat in fourth then moved up to third after 36 holes and then bumped up to the top spot on the final day.
Hannah was solid across the three days finishing 3rd overall shooting scores of 74-74-73. For the invite Hannah was Even Par on the Par 3's (3.00), was +7 on Par 4's (4.23), and was -2 on Par 5's (4.83). She totaled 37 Pars and 7 Birdies.
Redlands returns to the links in April for SCIAC No. 2 hosted by Occidental College at Mountain Meadows Golf Club in the city of Pomona, CA.
