REDLANDS, Calif. – Golfstat officially announced their Division III National Rankings this week for Women's Golf with the University of Redlands coming in as the top ranked team in the country (No. 1).

The Bulldogs hold a 1.1 percent advantage over Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (CMS) with a 96.5 relative percentage and are one of only three teams at or above 95 percent. Their adjusted scoring average is 73.75, second best and one of only three teams under a 74. Redlands is also 9-for-9 against Top-25 teams and has the most wins without a loss in the country.

Redlands' No. 1 ranking comes thanks to a pair of wins, the first coming at the California State Intercollegiate where they shot a program-best 275 in the first round, besting their score at the SCIAC No. 1 in 2021 by 12 strokes. In their second round they shot their fifth single best round with a 289. Their two-round score of 564 set a program record by 19 strokes over their score at the same tournament in September 2021.

Their second win came at the Division III Preview Tournament in Howey-in-the-Hills, FL where Nicholson shot a 77-70, with the 70 being the 12th lowest single-round score in program history.  Redlands ended up beating out seven current Top-25 teams over the two days, four of which are inside the Top-10.

The Bulldogs finished their fall schedule at the Claremont Challenge where they were playing their third tournament in thirteen days and they ended up finishing in third place behind Claremont-M-S and NAIA program Menlo College.

In the individual rankings, Kendall Nicholson (Bellevue, WA) finds herself as the top ranked player in the country with an adjusted scoring average of a 71.42.  She also has the best comparative record (1242).  She finished the fall going 13-1 against the Top-25 and has a perfect 33-0 record against players ranked 26-100.

Nicholson is joined by four other Bulldogs in the Top-100 with No. 8 Hannah Jugar (Chula Vista, CA), No. 22 Jizelle Robledo (La Habra, CA), No. 29 Andrea York (Oakdale, CA), and No. 93 Chloe Phan (Milpitas, CA).
