Junior Caroline Ordian Rises on Individual Leaderboard during Third Round of NCAA Championships

The NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships continued on Thursday in Houston, TX, with University of Redlands junior Caroline Ordian (Palm Desert, CA) rising two spots on the individual leaderboard into a tie for 18th place with a third-round score of 74.  For the second day in a row, she improved her score and her standing among the talented field.

With a 54-hole total of 229 (80-75-74), Ordian sits 10 strokes behind the co-leaders from Rhodes College (TN) and Bridgewater College (VA) with one round remaining.

During Thursday's outing, Ordian began on the 10th hole of the Bay Oaks Country Club and registered 12 pars, a birdie, and one eagle for a two-over 74 on the day. 

The national tournament wraps up on Friday, May 12, as Ordian tees off at 9:35 a.m. CT in the second-to-last group. Fans may follow along through live stats at GolfStat.
