It was announced late Wednesday that junior Caroline Ordian (Palm Desert, CA) of the University of Redlands became a three-time PING Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) Division III All-American with this year's First-Team nod. 

Ordian entered this year's national tournament as the third-ranked women's golfer in the nation with an adjusted scoring average of 75.94.  Her 20 regular-season rounds of competition have translated into medalist honors at the George Fox Westbrook Invitational and the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Tournament No. 2.  Furthermore, she recorded a pair of 70s this year, as highlighted by her final round of the SCIAC Championships, which landed her second on the leaderboard.

Beyond her All-America nod, Ordian also landed on the WGCA All- Region Team as one of 10 golfers to represent the Division III schools in the West.

Ordian, who was Redlands' first-ever WGCA All-American as a freshman, continues to compete at the 2017 NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships in Houston, TX.  She teed off in the third round at the Bay Oaks Country Club earlier today and hopes to move up from her tied-for-20th spot on the leaderboard.
