The University of Redlands women's golf team finished off the 18-hole portion of the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) schedule on Sunday, taking second with a combined score of 334 as the hosts of the match at Tukwet Canyon Golf Course in Beaumont. 

The Bulldogs finished 30 strokes ahead of third-place Cal Lutheran University but nine strokes behind top-scoring Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges. 

Sophomore Hannah Durette (Oceanside, CA) registered a team-leading round of 81 to take third overall.  She hit eight pars on the day and tied for first among the Maroon and Gray in par-four scoring at 4.60.

After rattling off a round of 39 on the back nine, freshman Dalton Meade (Sandy, OR) completed the course just one stroke behind Durette.  Meade finished tied for fourth overall but led the field in par-three scoring at 2.75 and notched the most number of birdies at three.

Senior Tracy Saracino (Englewood, CO) fired off an impressive front nine (38) to finish up sixth in the field with her score of 83.  En route to hitting nine pars, she tied for the lead among all competitors with an even performance on the par-fives.

Rounding out the Bulldog scores, freshman Hannah Purdy (Newbury Park, CA) and second-year swinger Siarra Waddy (Temecula, CA) signed their scorecards at 88 and 89, respectively, while newcomer Samantha Conway (Ripon, CA) posted a 92.  Purdy recorded eight pars, while Waddy tied for the team-lead for par-four scoring at 4.60.

Freshman Tavleen Kochar (La Habra, CA) also competed in the event for Redlands, finishing out the day with a round of 82.  She notched two birdies and hit seven pars in the process.

Redlands heads into the SCIAC Championships as the second-place team following a quartet of similar finishes during the four 18-hole tournaments.  The two-round event takes place at Diamond Valley Golf Course in Hemet on April 22-23.
