SCIAC Women's Basketball Weekly Release No. 3

REDLANDS, Calif. - The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) announced their Women's Basketball Athletes of the Week in the third week of voting and University of Redlands graduate student Hannah Jerrier (Canton, MA) was selected as the SCIAC Defensive Athlete of the Week for the first time this season and the seventh time in her career. 

Jerrier locked down the post over the weekend as the University of Redlands Women's Basketball team went 2-0 on their trip to the Pacific Northwest beating Linfield University (66-50) and Pacific (OR) (67-66).  The defensive unit anchored by Jerrier held both teams to an average of 58.0 points per game.  Across the two victories she grabbed 20 rebounds, while nabbing six steals and blocking six shots with a double-double coming in the one-point Boxer victory, in which she scored 12 points and passed for seven assists. 

Redlands returns to the court this Wednesday, November 30 on the road when they open up Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) play against Occidental College beginning at 5:30pm.
