WBCA Academic Team Honor Rolls

REDLANDS, Calif. – The Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) announced their Academic Team Honors from the 2021-22 season this week with the University of Redlands Women's Basketball team receiving special mention.

The 12 Bulldogs compiled a 3.307 Cumulative GPA and was one of three programs from the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) to earn recognition (Claremont-M-S | 3.627) (Chapman | 3.476).   

The programs with the top 25 GPAs in each division were selected to the WBCA Academic Top 25, while special mention status was bestowed upon those programs that met the minimum 3.0 GPA but weren't among the top 25. In Division III this includes over 100 schools for the 2021-22 year. 

This year's release also marks the first year in which all teams which qualified for the top 25 rankings with the minimum 3.0 GPA also are recognized for their academic accomplishment.
