REDLANDS, Calif. – Senior center Hannah Jerrier (Canton, MA) of the University of Redlands women's basketball team was selected to the D3hoops.com All-West Region Team, announced by the organization on Tuesday.
A member of the All-Region Second Team, Jerrier earns her first career All-Region honors after a successful senior season helping to lead the Maroon and Grey to the 2021-22 Regular Season SCIAC Championship Title and a berth into the SCIAC Tournament as the No. 1 seed.
Jerrier, who was a First Team All-SCIAC honoree averaged a double double this season with 13.2 PPG and 10.7 RPG, all while shooting 55.6% from the field, and 72% from the free-throw line.
Nationally, Jerrier ranked 13th in field goal percentage and scored in double figures in 14 games this season, while combining for 38 blocks, 53 assists, and 21 steals.
With nine double-doubles on the season, Jerrier notched three of them in the last month of the season in February alone. The final 15 games of the season, which spanned from January 12-February 24 Jerrier had 10 games in double figures.
On the season Jerrier led the team in field goal percentage (53.8%), blocked shots (38) and rebounding (254), was No. 2 in steals (21), and No. 3 in total points (293) and assists (53).
Jerrier was also named CoSIDA Academic All-District, was voted by the conference head coaches as the SCIAC Defensive Athlete of the Year and was selected as the SCIAC Athlete of the Week five times throughout the season, four of which were on the defensive end.
