2021-22 Women's Basketball All-SCIAC Teams

REDLANDS, Calif. - The 2021-22 All-Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) women's basketball teams were announced Tuesday following a vote conducted by the league's member head coaches.

Senior center Hannah Jerrier (Canton, MA) was selected as the SCIAC Defensive Athlete of the Year for the first time in her career.  A dominant force for the defensive unit all season, she averaged 10.3 rebounds (7.6 defensive boards) per game against conference foes, and also blocked 1.6 shots per game. In addition to her defensive prowess, she averaged 12.7 points per outing against league competition, shooting 53.6% from the field, and 64.4% from the free-throw line. Jerrier notched seven double-doubles in 15 SCIAC games played this season, highlighted by a 17-rebound effort in a win over La Verne, and reached double figures on the glass in nine conference contests.

She was also named the SCIAC Athlete of the Week five times, the most out of any athlete in the conference four of which were for her defensive efforts.
