REDLANDS, Calif. – The 2021-22 Academic All-District Women's Basketball Team, selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) was announced this week recognizing the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.

Hannah Jerrier (Canton, MA) was one of nine student-athletes to be recognized from District 8, which includes Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Iowa, Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Montana, North Dakota, New Mexico, Nevada, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, and Canada).  She is also the ninth Bulldog this year to be named CoSIDA Academic All-District joining Kai Thompson (Football), Calhoun Helmberger (Football), Jace Tessaro (Football), Mikey Flota (Men's Soccer), Arian Mogharei (Men's Soccer), Collin ChubbFertal (Men's Soccer), Steve Acuna (Men's Soccer), and Aidan McSweeny (Men's Soccer). 

Jerrier currently holds a 3.88 GPA and is double majoring in Spanish and Psychology along with a minor in Racial and Ethnic Studies and plans to become a Spanish teacher upon graduation.  This season she has proven to be the top center in the conference being named the SCIAC Athlete of the Week five times (1-Offensive | 4-Defensive).  This season she helped lead the University of Redlands Women's Basketball team to an 18-4, 14-2 SCIAC record, the 2021-22 SCIAC Regular Season Championship Title and the No. 1 seed in the upcoming SCIAC Post Season Tournament. 

She currently holds a national ranking within Division III at No. 13 in Field-Goal Percentage.  This season she is averaging a double double with 13.2 PPG and 10.7 RPG, all while shooting 55.6% from the field, and 72% from the free-throw line.  She has also accumulated 14 games in double figures and combined for 31 blocks, 50 assists, and 20 steals.

Jerrier joins Whittier College senior guard Teani White as the only members of the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) to be voted Academic All-District for 2021-22.  

Players must hold at least a cumulative 3.30 grade-point average on a 4.0 scale and have played in at least 50 percent of their team's games to be nominated for recognition for the all-encompassing award. Voting is conducted by sports information directors in each respective region, with First Team All-District honorees advancing to a national ballot voted on by members of the Academic All-America committee.
