SCIAC Women's Basketball Weekly Release No. 14

REDLANDS, Calif. – The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) announced their Women's Basketball Athletes of the Week in the fourteenth week of voting and University of Redlands senior center Hannah Jerrier (Canton, MA) was named the SCIAC Defensive Athlete of the Week.

Hannah has now earned recognition from the conference for the fifth time this season, once as the offensive athlete of the week and another four as the defensive athlete of the week.

Jerrier led Redlands to a 3-0 week that saw the Bulldogs beat Occidental (79-64), La Verne (80-70), and California Lutheran (85-62). Jerrier notched 23 of her 35 total rebounds on the defensive boards and also swatted four shots - two each against the Leopards and Regals. She also contributed 18.7 points per game and dished out three assists.    

Redlands returns to the court this Wednesday, February 16 when they host Caltech on Senior Night beginning at 7:00pm.
