REDLANDS, Calif. – Following a huge comeback victory for the University of Redlands Women's Basketball team Monday night over Chapman University, the Bulldogs will now travel on Wednesday, January 12 to take on Caltech beginning at 7:00pm.

Redlands Coming into the Game

The University of Redlands heads into Wednesday night's match-up with a short turnaround after beating Chapman 71-69 Monday night.  They were short handed with only eight players and trailed by as many as 21 points but were able to come back to pick up their seventh win on the season and remain undefeated in SCIAC play.  They currently boast a 7-2, 3-0 SCIAC record have won five of their last six and improve to 6-1 at home.  They have only played two games on the road where they sit at 1-1.       

Caltech Coming into the Game

Caltech is off to a strong start this season boasting a 6-6, 1-3 SCIAC record.  They collected their first SCIAC victory Monday night over Occidental College (72-55) and have won two of their past three.  Some other quality wins for them on the season include Manchester, Knox, Pacific (OR), Linfield, and Bethesda.

Head-to-Head (Past Five Years)

Over the past five years the Bulldogs are undefeated against the Beavers with a perfect 10-0 mark.  The last time these two programs met was on January 18, 2020 where UR won 63-60.

Redlands – The Bulldogs continue to add to their numbers averaging 70 PPG, while shooting 41.9% from the field, 29% from three-point territory, and 69% from the free-throw line.  They average 36.8 RPG with 9.8 coming on the offensive end and another 27 coming on the defensive end.  They dish out 13.7 APG, pick up 6.9 SPG, and 2.9 BPG.  They are holding opponents to 64.6 PPG, 56 PPG within SCIAC and allowing teams to shoot 39.4% from the field and 32.1% from deep.
