SCIAC Women's Basketball Weekly Release (No. 3)

REDLANDS, Calif. – The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) announced their Women's Basketball Athletes of the Week in the third week of voting.  University of Redlands senior center Hannah Jerrier (Canton, MA) was selected as the SCIAC Defensive Athlete of the Week for the second straight week.

Jerrier helped lift the Maroon and Grey to a split in its two non-conference games during the Bulldog-Panther Classic.  The Bulldogs defeated Willamette, 65-50, and lost to No. 11 Wheaton (Ill.), 69-57. Jerrier was superb on the defensive end of the floor hauling in 32 rebounds (16.0 per game), including 25 on the defensive glass over the two games. She also added four steals and four blocked shots during the week in addition to providing 24 points, highlighted by 19 coming in the win over Willamette.

Redlands returns to the court this Saturday, November 27 when they host Pacific (OR) University beginning at 4:00pm.
