Two former University of Redlands women's basketball standouts look forward to continuing their playing careers this summer by joining the 2014 USA Division III Women's Basketball Team. Bulldog guard Colleen Goeser '14 (San Carlos, CA) and forward Brittany Oster '14 (Agoura Hills, CA) represent Redlands on the all-star team that is made up of NCAA Division III basketball players who have been recognized as All-America, All-Region, and/or All-Conference honorees.

The squad begins its tour on July 21 in Orlando, FL, for orientation and practices before heading to Sao Paulo, Brazil, on the 22nd. The USA Division III Women's Basketball Team travels with the men's equivalent to play doubleheaders on July 23, 24, and 25 against selected teams from the region. The tour wraps up on July 26, when the teams travel to Rio de Janeiro for their final game on the 28th.

While at Redlands, Goeser played a huge role as the Bulldogs' floor general throughout her two years with the squad. She collected All-Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) accolades both seasons, landing on the First Team in her final campaign. During her most recent season, Goeser ranked second among the Bulldogs in scoring with 13.2 points per game as one of two players to eclipse the double-digit mark. She also successfully ran the Maroon and Gray's offense by providing 4.5 assists per game to go along with an impressive assist-to-turnover ratio of 1.6. She accomplished this while competing for a team-leading 32 minutes per contest.

Oster provides an impressive overall resume as well, having competed as a forward for Redlands throughout her four-year career. As a Bulldog, she accumulated enough points to rank fifth on the all-time list while becoming the eighth member of the 1000-point club at Redlands.

As a senior, Oster averaged a double-double, scoring 18.1 points and pulling in 10.7 rebounds per game, which ultimately landed her on the All-SCIAC First Team. She also received D3hoops.com Third-Team All-West Region honors and Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Division III All-America Honorable Mention to conclude her career.
