USTFCCCA All-Region Release

NEW ORLEANS – The  U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced their 2023 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field All-Region honorees and the Bulldog men had two athletes make the list.  The Top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top-3 relay teams.

The two all-region members included Jacob Huset (Tacoma, WA) in the High Jump and Cristian Megas (Palmdale, CA) in the 200m.

Huset competed in the High Jump twice during the indoor season, both times at Northern Arizona University (NAU). His first meet at the Ron Mann Classic resulted in a fourth-place finish and a mark of 1.93m/6' 4". Two weeks later at the NAU Tune-Up, he set a new personal best, and improved his eighth-best mark in program history, with a jump of 2.03m/6' 7.75", which was good enough for third place. His personal best jump qualified him for the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships.

Megas opened his indoor season with a personal best time of 7.08 in the 60m at the Ron Mann Classic at the beginning of February. Two weeks later he ran a 7.10 60m time at the NAU Tune-Up.
